A semiconductor breaker includes: a semiconductor switch unit which controls a conduction state between a power supply device and a loading device on the basis of control voltage; a current detection unit for detecting current flowing the loading device from the power supply device; a cut-off processing unit which causes the semiconductor switch unit to be a cut-off state if the current is a first current threshold value or larger; a control voltage change unit which changes a control voltage to be an assumption voltage that is estimated as a control voltage that does not exceed a second current threshold value which is the first current threshold value or less, in a case of causing a conductive state, on the basis of a voltage difference between both terminals of the semiconductor switch unit which changes according to time lapse from the start of operation to make the conductive state and an element characteristic that has been acquired in advance; and a correction unit for correcting the control voltage so that the current does not exceed the second current threshold value if it is equal to the second current threshold value or larger. The element characteristic is a characteristic that represents relationship among a voltage difference between both the terminals of the semiconductor switch unit, the control voltage, and a current value flowing the semiconductor switch unit.
