To provide a semiconductor chip that reduces supply voltage rejection ratio.
In a sound signal processing apparatus, one electrode of a capacitor 2 is connected to two external pins P4, P5 of a semiconductor integrated circuit device 3; the other electrode of the capacitor 2 is grounded ;and a reference voltage VR2, generated by a VR2 generation circuit 14, is applied to a reference voltage node 13a of a D/A converter 13 via a protection circuit 10, the external pins P5, P4, and another protection circuit 9. As compared with conventional cases where an output node 14a of the VR2 generating circuit 14 is connected to the reference voltage node 13a of the D/A converter 13, without the use of the external pin P4, and the supply voltage rejection ratio becomes small.
