Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device of a novel constitution excellent in data processing and power consumption reduction.SOLUTION: A processor 10 includes a resister 12 having a first circuit 13 (storage circuit) and a second circuit 14 (storage circuit). The first circuit retains data obtained by arithmetic processing of the processor. The second circuit has a plurality of storage parts capable of retaining data obtained by arithmetic processing of the processor with respect to each routine. The processor 10 includes a resister control part 11 for switching routines different from each other depending on an interruption signal. The resister control part causes every time switching the routines, any one of the plurality of storage parts, which corresponds to the routine of the second circuit to retain data retained in the first circuit. In addition, the resister control part causes every time switching the routines, the first circuit to retain data retained by any one of the plurality of storage parts, which corresponds to the routine of the second circuit.
