PURPOSE: To produce an element for which the performance equivalent to a single crystal element is required and an element required to be produced in a light translucent substrate by a simple process on the same substrate.

CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with the substrate 1 produced by removing the semiconductor single crystal region which is directly under a translucent film 2 formed at one main surface side of the semiconductor single crystal substrate from another main surface, non-single crystal semiconductor element 4 formed on the translucent film 2, a single crystal semiconductor element 3 formed in the residual semiconductor single crystal region of the substrate 1. Further, the non-single crystal semiconductor element 4 and the single crystal semiconductor element 3 are electrically connected.
