A sensor portion provided on a transparent substrate comprises at least an active element, a metal electrode that is electrically connected to the active element and that blocks light from the transparent substrate, a photoelectric conversion element provided on the metal electrode, and a transparent electrode provided on the photoelectric conversion element. A light absorption material that absorbs light reflected in the transparent substrate is provided for a side part of the sensor portion, and the active element includes a polycrystalline silicon film. This structure can solve the above problem.
