A pulse signal output circuit includes first to tenth transistors. The ratios W/L of channel widths W to channel lengths L of the first transistor and the third transistor are set to be larger than the ratio W/L of the sixth transistor, the ratio W/L of the fifth transistor is set to be larger than the ratio W/L of the sixth transistor, the ratio W/L of the fifth transistor is set to be the same as the ratio W/L of the seventh transistor, and the ratio W/L of the third transistor is set to be larger than the ratio W/L of the fourth transistor. This configuration can provide a pulse signal output circuit allowing stable operation and a shift resister including the circuit.
