Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a semiconductor device in which a plurality of semiconductor elements are parallely connected that temperatures of some semiconductor elements become higher than temperatures of the other semiconductor elements due to fluctuation in electrical characteristics of the semiconductor elements.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device of the present embodiment comprises: a plurality of semiconductor elements electrically and parallely connected with each other; a control circuit for controlling a flowing current of the plurality of semiconductor elements; and a thermoelectric element for detecting a temperature difference among the plurality of semiconductor elements. In the case where the thermoelectric element detects a temperature difference among the plurality of semiconductor elements, the control circuit decreases the flowing current of the semiconductor element having a relatively higher temperature and increases the flowing current of the semiconductor element having a relatively lower temperature thereby to suppress a temperature difference among the plurality of semiconductor elements with this configuration and all of the plurality of semiconductor elements can be used by increasing an output current to the greatest extent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
