Abstract:
To provide a semiconductor device capable of transmitting data used for different control without increasing a signal path.SOLUTION: A pulse generation circuit 6 of a transmission side chip 2 outputs a low-frequency pulse train as a signal INH when a signal IN inputted from the exterior indicates a high level, and outputs a frequency pulse train as a signal INL when the signal IN indicates a low level. When a signal DATAIN is at a high level, the signals INH and INL are changed to have a higher frequency and then modulated. A reception side chip 4 receives the signals INH and INL via a transformer chip 3 as signals OUTH and OUTL, and a latch circuit 5 is controlled by these signals to output a signal OUT to the exterior. A pulse frequency determination circuit 10 demodulates the signals OUTH and OUTL depending on a change in frequency to output a signal DATAOUT to the exterior.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
