Abstract:
To provide a semiconductor element with excellent crystallinity and improved light output.SOLUTION: A semiconductor element includes a first conductivity type semiconductor layer 124, a second conductivity type semiconductor layer 127, an active layer 126 disposed between the first conductivity type semiconductor layer and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer, and a light-emitting structure including an intermediate layer 125 disposed between the first conductivity type semiconductor layer and the active layer or inside the first conductivity type semiconductor layer. The first conductivity type semiconductor layer, the intermediate layer, the active layer, and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer contain aluminum. The intermediate layer includes a first intermediate layer whose aluminum composition is lower than that of the first conductivity type semiconductor layer.
