Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductive endless plastic belt excellent in the reproducibility of a thin line, and capable of preventing a developer from being splashed and making a copied image high in image quality.
SOLUTION: In this endless belt constituted of many layers, two layer extracted in the order of thickness among many layers satisfy following conditions (X) and (Y). (X): The volume resistivity of the layer (outer layer) 15 of the outside circumference side out of two layers is set to be within the range of 1013 to 1014 Ω.cm. (Y): The volume resistivity of the layer (inner layer) 13 of the inside circumference side out of two layers is set to be smaller than that of the layer 15.
