Abstract:
To provide a coating liquid and ink, coated matter and a printed matter using them, wavelength conversion film, a color filter, and a light emitting device, which do not sacrifice characteristics of a semiconductor fine particle composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a coating material for coating semiconductor fine particles and the surface of the particles, which coating material has a structure represented by the following three general formulae, formula (1): Y-(Ar-X-Ar), formula (2): Y-(Ar-X-Ar-X-Ar), and formula (3): Y-(Ar-X-Ar-X-Ar-X-Ar). Y is an adsorption group that generates an action of linking to the surface of semiconductor fine particles, Arto Arare each independently an aromatic ring group, a condensed aromatic ring group, a condensed aromatic heterocycle group, each of which may comprise a substituent, or a group consisting of a structure with 2 to 10 of the same or at least two kinds of rings described above linked together, Arto Arare each a divalent group, and Aris a monovalent group.
