Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit whereby the operation of a user logic part is easily inspected and an internal defective part is easily specified.
SOLUTION: A controller 4 consisting of ASIC(application specific integrated circuit) is provided with a CPU 16, RAM 14, ROM 12 and the user logic part which are mutually connected. ROM 12 is connected to the user logic part 10 with a bus control circuit 18 and the RAM 14 and CPU 16 are to the user logic part 10 with the bus control circuit 20. The bus control circuit 18 separates ROM 12 in accordance with a selecting signal SA and the bus control circuit 20 separates RAM 14 and CPU 16 in accordance with a mode selecting signal SA1. Thus, a normaly mode where nothing is separated, a ROM exterior mode where only ROM 12 is separated and a CPU exterior mode where ROM 12, RAM 14 and CPU 16 are separated so as to inspect the user logic part 10 can be set.
