Title:
SEMICONDUCTOR LASER MODULE WITH THERMOELECTRON COOLING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3226696
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To widen a frequency band by preventing the cavity resonance generated between a stem and a metallic holder and erasing the dip in resonance in a small-signal frequency characteristic without impairing a cooling capacity which is a trade-off with a high-frequency characteristic.
CONSTITUTION: This semiconductor laser module with a thermoelectron cooling element has a structure formed by mounting the stem 9 mounted with a semiconductor laser 1 on a thermoelectron cooling element 10 for controlling the temp. of this semiconductor laser 1 and projecting the metallic holder 12 for fixing a lens 4 for condensing the light emitted from the semiconductor laser 1 into a case 11. The stem 9 and metallic holder 12 described above are connected with each other through a conductive plate material.
