Abstract:
To provide easy-to-prepare water-soluble semiconductor nanoparticles having excellent fluorescent characteristics.
This semiconductor nanoparticle has electron donative groups arranged on a semiconductor nanoparticle core surface, and has fluorescent characteristics and water-solubility. In this method for manufacturing the semiconductor nanoparticle, a surface treatment material for giving one or more kinds of electron donative groups is added to the semiconductor nanoparticles, and the electron donative groups are arranged on the semiconductor nanoparticle core surface.
