Abstract:
To provide a semipermeable membrane supporting body that has less defects such as pinholes after formation of a semipermeable membrane.SOLUTION: A semipermeable membrane supporting body is composed of nonwoven fabric containing at least main synthetic fiber and binder synthetic fiber, where a permeation area ratio of a polysulfone solution into the semipermeable membrane supporting body is 18%-35% when polysulfone solution (polysulfone : Cordel (a registered trademark) P-3500LCD MB-7 (a commercial name), manufactured by A Sobic Bay Company, solvent : N-dimethylformamide) of 16 mass% concentration is applied to a surface of the semipermeable membrane supporting body.SELECTED DRAWING: None
