Abstract:
To provide a transmission/reception method that stabilizes the operation even when it becomes multifunctional, and reduces problems caused when outputting warning messages and the like.SOLUTION: In a transmission/reception method, a transmitter includes second control information (ECM) in a first service signal and transmits the signal, and first control information (EMM) of a first business entity to a CAS module is transmitted at a frequency lower than that of the ECM sent in a second cycle. A receiver sets a first period (30 seconds) in which first command transmission corresponding to the EMM is performed on the CAS module, and processing of the minimum number of pieces of the EMM during the first period, and acquires a second key (Ks) updated in the first cycle, and descrambles and displays the content. The EMM remaining in a buffer is discarded after the first period elapses from when the EMM is stored in the buffer, and when a non-contract response is acquired from the CAS module, the non-contract is notified and, when access to the server is not possible, a communication error is notified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25
