Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate low power consumption operation of a sense amplifier without wasting electric charge.
CONSTITUTION: A sense amplifier 101 is connected to a pair of bit lines BLO and /BLO. A sense amplifier controller 103 is connected to the sense amplifier 101 through a node SAP and a node SAN which are power supplies. The nodes VSAP and VSAN of the sense amplifier controller 103 have voltages different from the voltage of the pair of the bit lines BLO and /BLO. Further, a precharger 102 which charges the pair of bit lines BLO and /BLO is connected to the pair of the bit lines BLO and/BLO.
