Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sensing device for the damaged part of structures and its sensing method making it possible to detect the damage of the quasi-material in addition in each level of structures.
SOLUTION: The sensors 3a prepared in the sensing device 3 are arranged in the predetermined places in each level of structures 7. By the use of the sensing device 3, the vibration information 10 in each level of structures is measured and stored in the data area of the storage 4 of the main unit 2 of the sensing device for damaged part of structures 7. In the main unit 2 of the sensing device for damaged part of structures 7, the arithmetic processing is executed by the arithmetic unit 5 using the vibration information 10 and the first calculation formula stored in the program area 4b so as to estimate the stiffness of a post 8 and a beam 9 in each level of the structures 7. The stiffness of the post 8 and the beam 9 in each level of the structures 7 is estimated again after the incident that damages the structures 7. The decrease rate of each stiffness of the post 8 and the beam 9 in each level is calculated by the estimated values concerning the stiffness of the post 8 and the beam 9 in each level before and after the incident that damages the structures 7.
