Title:
SENSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3928053
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile sensor of vibration mode, that is, having a wide range of detectable conditions for contact or detectable external forces.
SOLUTION: The tactile sensor, equipped with the body of tactile sensor having an elastic metal, a ferromagnetic body membrane formed on the surface of the elastic metal, and a first electrode and a second electrode formed on the ferromagnetic body membrane, a driving voltage impression circuit section impressing driving voltage to the first electrode, and a detecting circuit section for detecting the output from the second electrode, changes the frequency of the driving voltage impressed on the first electrode, by forcing the body of tactile sensor so as to resonate in a plurality of resonance modes and arranges an elastic body to a part contacting the test bodies in the body of tactile sensor, while the spring constant of the elastic body modulus changes according to the change in the external force.
