Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable quick and accurate discrimination of the propriety of a number of sensors with an external diagnosing output using a sensor controller system by generating and storing a table concerning the sensors with an external diagnosing function beforehand to judge an external diagnosis output referring memory contents. CONSTITUTION:An external diagnosing output as obtained when a number of sensors 1 with an external diagnosing function is better is supplied to a table generation means 3 and external diagnosis output information is stored into a table memory means 4 of a sensor controller 2. Then, when a number of sensors are controlled with a controller 2, the external diagnosis of the sensors 1 is interrupted through the controller 2 and a sensor propriety judging means 5 judges the propriety of the sensors depending on a change in external diagnosis output based on the external diagnosis output and reference information from a corresponding means 4. This produces a sensor controller system which enables better judgement of sensors with external diagnosing functions quickly and accurately without requiring programming for each operation.
