Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional sensor device that power consumption tends to considerably increase.SOLUTION: Provided is a sensor device comprising a sensor unit for measuring the physical quantity of an object, communication unit for communicating with an external device, a timekeeping unit for counting the time of day and a control unit for controlling the sensor unit and the timekeeping unit, the control unit placing the communication unit into a communicatable state, allowing it to receive time of day information from the external device and adjusting the time of day of the timekeeping unit on the basis of the time of day information during a time synchronization period, placing the sensor unit into a measurement possible powered state and allowing it to measure the physical quantity of an object during an observation period, placing the communication unit and the sensor unit into a power-saving state during a power-saving period. Also provided is a sensor system that includes the sensor device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
