This sensor device 10 has a load cell (a sensor body) 12 outputting a voltage signal according to an added load, a circuit board 14, and a power source part 16, and they are stored in a single casing 18. The circuit board 14 is loaded with a strain amplifier 24, an A/D conversion circuit 26, and a CPU 30 or the like, and they function as a signal processing means applying prescribed signal processing to the voltage signal outputted from the load cell 12 to acquire measurement result data. The circuit board 14 is also loaded with a USB interface 28 functioning as a communication means exchanging various kinds of information including the measurement result data with an external information processor by USB connecction. By providing the USB interface 28, the number of the sensor devices 10 connected to the single external information processor can be easily increased/reduced.
