To restrain damage of a sensor body and an installation groove, by restraining deformation of a fixing plate, even if a set screw is increasingly fastened, when installing a sensor fixed to the installation groove in the installation groove having a width wider than a width of the sensor body via the fixing plate threadedly engaged with the set screw.
The installation groove 13 formed on an outside surface of a hydraulic cylinder 11, has the width wider than the width of the sensor body 15, and a slipping-out preventive part 16 is projected on its both sidewalls so that a distance between the tips becomes the width or more of the sensor body 15, and the sensor 14 is fixed to the installation groove 13 via an installation member 17. The installation member 17 has the fixing plate 19 forming a screw hole 22 in a position opposed to an insertion hole 24a formed in a part for sandwiching a fixing plate arranging part 18 of the sensor body in a state of being arranged in the fixing plate arranging part 18 arranged in the sensor body 15. A locking part 20 brought into pressure contact with the slipping-out preventive part 16 in fastening by the set screw, is projected on the fixing plate 19.
