PURPOSE: To measure physical parameters accurately even if the play between a weight and a housing is small by forming the housing on a frame while surrounding the weight in order to constitute a buffer means for a mechanically flexible supporting plate provided with the weight.

CONSTITUTION: A frame 2 is fixed with a measuring element part 6 comprising a mechanically flexible supporting plate 8 for physical parameters to be measured. Split weights 10a, 10b are coupled through a core rod 12 and secured to the supporting plate 8 which is provided, on the opposite sides thereof, with searching elements each comprising two quartz oscillators 14. Fitting parts 30a, 30b in the shape of hydraulic buffer copy the profile of the weights 10a, 10b so that the weights 10a, 10b are fully fitted therein through a small play on the order of 0.1mm between the outer circumference of the weights 10a, 10b and the inner wall of the fitting parts 30a, 30b. This structure prevents erroneous operation due to contact with the weight and the oscillator 14 oscillates a signal indicative of a physical parameter depending on the deformation of the supporting plate 8.
