Abstract:

To enable specifying the positions of a plurality of sensor nodes distributed in space, associating with the movement of moving objects to be traced, and further, to obtain information on distances among the sensor nodes.

A server SV generates time series data which show detecting time of objects to be sensed for each sensor node, based on node IDs that are to be sent from sensor nodes SNa to SNj and their receiving time. Based on the time series data, the server obtains a central time of the detecting time of the objects to be sensed for each sensor node and sets time width W, where the total length is larger than the detection time prior to and behind the central time. Next, the server obtains the length of the detection time of the objects to be sensed by the other sensor nodes within the time width W, and creates vector data of which the length of the detection time is set to be a vector element. Furthermore, the server maps similarity between vector data created for each sensor node and creates mapping data indicating the distances among the sensor nodes.
