Abstract:
To monitor a component of a vehicle.
A sensor system comprises a sensor device which comprises a housing where a temperature sensor for detecting heat, a transmission part, and a power source are housed. The sensor device should be sealed so that its components are protected from ambient environment. When the temperature of component attached with the sensor system exceeds a specified threshold, a thermostat sensor is closed so that the transmission part is supplied with power from the power source, with a signal transmitted to a receiver unit.
