To provide a temperature compensation circuit capable of having a primary temperature characteristic without including a high-order component with respect to a temperature change and in which an adjustment width of a temperature coefficient is independent from a temperature coefficient of resistance.
The sensor temperature compensation circuit includes: a reference voltage generating circuit 2, a current source 6, and a sensor drive current generating circuit 3 that generates a drive current for driving a sensor element 1. The sensor drive current generating circuit 3 has variable resistances VR1 and VR2 having difference temperature coefficients of resistance. The sensor drive current generating circuit 3 adds a voltage that is determined by a difference between the temperature coefficients of resistance of the two variable resistances VR1 and VR2 and the current of the current source 6, and that depends on a temperature, to a reference voltage generated by the reference voltage generating circuit 2 to generate a temperature compensation voltage, and generates the drive current of the sensor element 1 depending on the temperature compensation voltage.
