Abstract:
PURPOSE:To generate sentences efficiently by taking out patch data from a means and inserting it to a desired position of a generated sentence in response to the call indication of an input means. CONSTITUTION:A sentence buffer 41, a PASTE buffer 42, and an area 43 are provided in an editing memory 4, and sentence data which is generated at present or the like is stored in the buffer 41, and patch data is stored in the buffer 42. A sentence file FD1 provided in a floppy disc device 10 consists of a registering sentence area F3, a PASTE area F2, and a temporary saving area F2, and a register name is added to each registers sentence, and it is regis tered on the area F1. When the patch mode is set, sentence data which is gener ated at present in the buffer 41 is stored in the area F3, and selected registered sentences are transferred from the area F1 to the buffer 41 and are displayed. Further, patch data is specified from the display and is transferred to the buffer 42 successively and are stored in the area F2, and this data is transferred to the buffer 41 together with data in the area F3 and is displayed, and patch data is inserted to the position of a cursor.
