PURPOSE: To distingwshably read a word having plural readings and to obtain an expected special reading without registering it in a dictionary even in the case where the special reading is expected by holding a reading kana (Japanese syllabary) by making it correspond to the word in a sentence.
CONSTITUTION: A reading information generation part 8 generates the reading of a sentence by combining the analysis result of the sentence and the designation of the reading, detects a portion where plural readings exist, a portion where the generation of the reading can not be performed (or a portion where the identification of the word can not be performed) and a portion where the reading kana designation information of a prescribed form does not exist, presents the detected result by using a display device when the portions are detected, and has a function requesting the reading input from a reading kana designation input part 11. A reading information generation part 8 accepts the reading input from the reading kana designation input part 11, makes the input correspond to the sentence and hods the input in a reading information holding part 9. Namely, the reading of the sentence is generated by combining the analysis result of the sentence and the reading designation, a portion where plural readings exist and a portion where the generation of the reading can not be performed are detected, the reading input accepted, the input is made to correspond to the sentence and the input is held.
