To provide a lighting device using a wavelength conversion that is driven by an increased current for generating high brightness by using a wavelength conversion device physically separated from a light source.
The lightning device uses at least one light emission diode, a wavelength conversion device as phosphors layer or the like that is physically separated from the light source of xenon lamp, mercury vapor lamp or the like. The wave conversion device is optically separated from the light source to prevent a converted light emitted from the wavelength conversion device entering into the light source. Therefor, the temperature limitation of the wave conversion device is eliminated, so that the light source can be actuated by increased current for generating a high brightness. Further, the conversion of the device and cycle efficiency are improved by optically separating the wavelength conversion device from the light source, resulting in the increase of the brightness.
