PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive gas/liquid separating apparatus having a simple structure by arranging a pipe having a larger outside diameter than a blowing pipe concentrically to the outside of the blowing pipe in the inside of a vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A gas/liquid mixture 17 blown into a vessel 15 through a blowing 16 is brought into a separating pipe 23. And, liq. drops having relatively smaller particle size are dropped to the bottom of the vessel 15 along the inside wall of the separating pipe 23, and liq. drops having relatively larger particle size are dropped to the bottom of the vessel 15. A gas/liquid mixture contg. fine liq. particles is blown into the vessel 15 through the separating pipe 23 and te liquid drops are dropped to the bottom of the vessel 15 by decelerating rapidly to separate the gas from the liq. completely. The separated liquid 22 is discharged to the outside of the vessel through a liquid discharging pipe 21, and the separated gas 20 is made to risee to the top of the vessel 15 and discharged to the outside of the vessel 15 through a gas discharging pipe 18.
