To easily separate individual members from each other without damaging them by sucking/holding one side member to be separated to/by an attracting surface of a separating part in a curved condition, and separating it from a composite.
A front face of the forefront member 11a of a composite 11 is brought into contact with a sucking surface 21 of a separating part 20 by a push plate 31 of a positioning part 30. Therefore, positioning of the composite 11 is completed. An evacuation system is actuated from this condition, and a tip surface of the member 11a is sucked to and held by its surface 21 by vacuum suction. At this time, since the surface 21 is formed in a recessed surface shape, the member 11a is sucked and held along a surface of this surface 21 in a curved condition. It is easily separated from the next member 11b of the composite 11 by this curve. Afterwards, the separating part 20 carries the member 11a to a prescribed place such as the next process. With the constitution, individual members 11a, 11b,... of the composite 11 can be reliably and quickly separated from each other without damage, breaking, breakage or the like.
