PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a plurality of flatly stacked plate shape materials into a sheet by making a groove part arranged on the same plane of the upper parts of two sheets of side plates which are mounted each other at a right angle wider than thickness of one sheet of plate shape material and narrower than thickness of two sheets.
SOLUTION: The upper part of a vertical stopper 6g is constituted of groove forming plates 6g-1 to 3 and side plates 6g-4 to 5. The width of a first groove 6a-1 and the width of a second groove 6a-2 are formed so as to be different and can be made to correspond to thickness of plural kinds of workpieces 4, and thickness of two sheets of workpiece 4 > a groove width > thickness of one sheet of workpiece 4 is determined and only one sheet of workpiece 4 can be smoothly inserted into the first groove 6a-1 or the second groove 6a-2. After plural sheets of workpieces 4 are lifted by an adsorptive hand 5a till the workpiece 4 on the uppermost part is abutted on the groove forming plate 6g-1, the workpiece 4 on the uppermost part is moved in the direction of the first groove 6a-1 till the workpiece 4 hits against the side plate 6g-4. The workpieces 4 except the workpiece 4 on the uppermost part hits on the groove forming plate 6g-2, do not enter the first groove 6a-1 and fall.
