A separating device 10 for the mobile objects, includes a separating device body 20 for functioning to separate an upstream mobile body 11, which is arranged movable in a straight line direction on a base plate 30, from a downstream mobile body 12 which is coupled to the upstream mobile body 11 on the base plate 30 at a predetermined separating location when the downstream mobile body 12 is moved downstream. The separating device body 20 includes a rotary body 21 arranged closed to the downstream mobile body 12 and for functioning to push the downstream mobile body 12 downstream at one end portion by rotating, a support shaft 22 held by the upstream mobile body 11 and for rotatably supporting the rotary body 21, and an original position return spring 23 held by the support shaft 22 and for returning the rotary body 21 to the original position. Moreover, a protruding member 25 for biasing the rotary body 21 with a rotating pressing force is fixedly equipped at the predetermined separating location of the base plate 30 corresponding to the other end portion of the rotary body 21.
