PURPOSE: To make possible the continuous feed of blanks without stopping operation of the feeding machine for blank plate, by separating double blanks after detected into upper and lower blanks by an attracting member, then by conveying the blanks to the next station by a prescribed way.

CONSTITUTION: Blanks 3 are fed from a stack 1 one after another through vacuum cups 2 to magnets 4, then the blanks are conveyed to the first and the second stations I, II. When double blanks are detected by a double detector 5, the double blanks are separated at the first station I into upper and lower blanks, one being attracted to the upper vacuum cup 6, the other to the lower vacuum cup 7. After separation, the lower blank 3a is conveyed to the second station II by the next cycle, and the upper blank 3b is conveyed to the second station II after two cycles. Hereby blanks are fed automatically unlike conventional methods which take out one of double blanks to outside by stopping the operation of the machine.
