To provide a separating plate, capable of suppressing problems arising due to dew-condensation of water vapor diffused from a transfer material in a fixing apparatus without impairing the demanded function, to provide the fixing apparatus equipped with the separating plate, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the fixing apparatus.
The transfer material discharged from a nip part 14 of the fixing apparatus 1 formed by the fixing member 11 and a pressure member 12, coming in press contact with the fixing member, is separated by the separating plate 13 from the fixing member. Regarding the separating plate 13, a moisture-absorbing means 13e for imparting a moisture-absorbing function to a part other than all of or a part of the leading end part 13c of the surface where the transfer material separated from the fixing member passes is arranged on the surface.
