Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lower the concentration of ammonium sulfate in a caprolactambenzene solution to about 50 ppm by strring the solution under specific conditions and allowing to stand. The solution is obtained by extracting a caprolactamcontg. mixture formed by Beckmann rearrangement with benzene after neutraliztion with NH3 water.
