To provide a separation device which can take out a separated individual spring without the springs being entangled with each other again after the entangled springs are separated from each other to be fed out.
A separator 4 involves a separation chamber 4F which contains springs 3 entangled with each other, compressed air is sent from an air inlet which is opened at the bottom part of the separation chamber 4F, and the separated spring 3 is delivered along with the compressed air from an outlet which is opened at the upper part of the separation chamber 4F. A part feeding pipe 7 for feeding out the separated spring 3 is connected to the outlet. In the part feeding pipe 7, its inner diameter is set so as to be a little larger than the outer diameter of the spring 3, and its pipe outlet is extended to the vicinity of a stopper surface 12. The distance between the pipe outlet and the stopper surface 12 is maintained at such a distance as only one of the springs 3 can be taken out and to be smaller than the whole length of the spring 3.
