To provide a separation membrane reaction device in which the reaction product at the pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure can be separated and a high reaction rate can be obtained.
The device is equipped with rotor housings 4, side housings 5 pressing the rotor housings 4 on both end faces, rotors 3 eccentrically rotating in the rotor housings 4, main shaft 1 to give the rotational driving force to the rotors 3, bearings 2 supporting the main shaft 1, a carried catalyst 8 applied on the inner walls of the rotor housings 4, a separation membrane 6 and a check valve 7 disposed on the side wall on each line of the rotor 3 facing the inner room of the rotor 3, holes 17 formed in a part of the main shaft 1 near the rotors 3, inner tubes 18 connected to the holes 17, and inlet pipes 9 and discharge pipes 10 attached to the rotor housings 4. Isopropanol 11 is introduced into the inner room to induce the reaction to decompose into acetone 12 and hydrogen 13 and the hydrogen 13 is separated by the separation membranes 6.
