Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of effectively separating 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234yf) and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a) from a mixture containing HFO-1234yf and HFC-134a and a method of effectively manufacturing HFO-1234yf by the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a separation method of HFO-1234yf and HFC-134a having a process of adding a first extraction solvent selected from alcohols, ketones, esters, amides, ethers, sulfoxides, nitrils, hydrofluoroethers having 2 to 4 carbon atoms and dichloropropane to a first mixture containing HFO-1234yf and HFC-134a to obtain a second mixture and an extraction distillation process of distilling the second mixture to obtain an extraction containing HFO-1234yf as a main component and a can extrusion article containing a first extraction solvent as a main component and HFC-134a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
