Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new method, device and so on for separating deuterium.SOLUTION: A reaction treatment part 12 causes reaction of graphene and a mixture gas by exposing graphene (in which carbon is two-dimensionally placed) to the mixture gas which has been electrically decomposed in an electrolysis part 11. A triple element is easy to be combined with graphene (carbon) rather than light hydrogen. The reason for this is that zero point oscillation energies of respective atoms are different from one another. Therefore, in the reaction, triple hydrogen atom can be preferentially combined with graphene. By this combination, triple hydrogen can be preferentially separated from the mixture gas compared with light hydrogen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
