Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure earthquake motion from which train vibration mixed to a seismic recording is removed by applying an independent component analysis method to the seismic recordings at two observation points in which the earthquake and train vibration are mixed.SOLUTION: The seismic observation at two observation points is implemented (step S1), then the observation results are subjected to whitening (step S2), and then independent component analysis is implemented (step S3). When there is mix of train vibration (step S4), waveforms of earthquake motion and train vibration are separated (step S5).
