Abstract:

To provide a separation method of a mixture using a gradient magnetic field which prevents metal material used in a separation system and separation device from corroding, caused by a supporting liquid, and do not require a post-process of removing an attached substance from separated particles and a recycle process of the supporting liquid.

In the separation method of mixture, the mixture containing particles of a plurality of kinds of substances and the supporting liquid are mixed and the gradient magnetic field is applied to array the particles of the plurality of kinds of substances in positions different depending on the kinds in a vertical direction. Perfluoro carbon is used as the supporting liquid 19. Oxygen may be pressurized and dissolved in the perfluoro carbon used as the supporting liquid 19.
