Abstract:
To easily remove an organic structure regulation agent from a zeolite membrane composed of 6-membered zeolite, and appropriately separate a high permeable substance.SOLUTION: A separation method includes: a step (step S21) of preparing a zeolite membrane composite body; and a step (step S22) of supplying a mixed gas containing a high permeable substance that is one kind selected from water, ammonia, helium and hydrogen to the zeolite membrane composite body, permeating the high permeable substance through the zeolite membrane composite body, and thereby separating the high permeable substance from the mixed gas. The zeolite membrane composite body includes a support, and a zeolite membrane which is provided on the support and is composed of 6-membered zeolite, and zeolite crystal grains having a minor diameter on the surface of 300 nm or less in a plurality of zeolite crystal grains positioned on the surface of the zeolite membrane occupy 85% or more of an area of the surface of the zeolite membrane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
