Abstract:
To provide a separation method of zinc capable of separating zinc from an iron-making dust at high recovery rate and good efficiency.SOLUTION: There is provided a separation method of zinc including a zinc leaching process for leaching zinc contained in an iron-making dust by adding acid to the iron-making dust and adjusting pH to 1.0 or more, a pH adjusting process for adjusting pH by adding first alkali to a treated liquid obtained in the zinc leaching process, an iron deposition process for depositing iron by adding second alkali and an oxidant to a treated liquid after the pH adjusting process, a first solid and liquid separation process for solid and liquid separating a treated liquid after the iron deposition process, a zinc deposition process for depositing zinc by adding third alkali to a treated liquid after the first solid and liquid separation process, and a second solid and liquid separation process for conducting solid and liquid separation on a treated liquid after the zinc deposition process, in which the addition of the first alkali in the pH adjusting process is conducted in a pH adjusting tank arranged in an upstream of a reaction tank in which the addition of the second alkali is conducted in the iron deposition process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
