A

PURPOSE: To separate oils and fats containing at least two species of phospholipid to specific phospholipid in high purity and a low cost without residue of a harmful component by using a mixed solution of ethanol and water as a mobile phase solvent of liquid chromatography.

CONSTITUTION: For instance, ethanol is mixed with water in a weight ratio of 99/1-50/50 to obtain a mobile phase solvent. Oils and fats containing at least two species of phospholipid, preferably a mixture of phospholipid containing 20wt.% phospholipid is dissolved in said mobile phase solvent and separation is performed in liquid chromatography (e.g. a sort of column chromatography) previously dissolved with said mobile phase solvent. Used mobile phase solvent is solely distilled and concentration is re-adjusted to be used in many times. Besides, residual solvent in a separated product is safe and able to be used as a raw material for a drug or food.
