The separation recovery apparatus is provided with the crushing blade unit provided with crushing blades B1, B2 at the rotary shaft S and rotatably disposed in a drum D, and a charge stand. During rotation of the crushing blades B1, B2, and the separation recovery apparatus introduces the discarded packed food charged from the charge port of the charge stand into the drum D, separates the discarded packed food into package waste G1 like packing containers and bags, and garbage, the discarded food and recovers them. For preventing tangling of the package waste G1 to an exposed part S2a of the rotary shaft S exposed in a space between the inner face of a side plate of the charge side of the discarded packed food in the drum D and end faces of the crushing blades of the crushing blade unit, winding rods T are respectively provided in the form of intruding into the space in proximity to the inner face of the side plate at the axial end part of the respective crushing blades.
