Title:
SEPARATION OF SODIUM GUANYLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS55139400
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: The total concentration of sodium chloride and sodium sulfate is adjusted to a specific value in an aqueous solution containing guanylic acid to increase the solid-liquid separation property with formation of flock, thus separating title compound with industrial scale.

CONSTITUTION: Sodium chloride and sodium sulfate are added to a aqueous solution containing 5'-guanylic acid until the concentration of sodium ion becomes more than 0.5g-ion/1 and twice the ion concentration of the sulfate and the sum of the sulfate ion and chloride ion exceeds 0.5g-ion/1. This operation precipitates the objective sodium 5'-guanylate as flocks of white gel and the precipitate is separated.
