Title:
SEPARATION STRUCTURE OF ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE, AND ROCKET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3943066
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation structure of an artificial satellite capable of separating a sub-satellite at an arbitrary time and hence easily throwing the sub-satellite into an optimal altitude and orbit, and to provide a rocket having the separation structure.
SOLUTION: In the separation structure of the artificial satellite, artificial satellites 2 and 5 are supported inside the rocket 1, and are separated from the rocket 1 in outer space. Respective storing spaces 8 for storing a plurality of sub-satellites 5 are disposed radially about the axis of the rocket 1, each sub-satellite 8 is separated from the storing space 8 radially about the axis, the separation structure 3 of a main artificial satellite 2 to be separated from the rocket 1 in the axial direction can be mounted to the tip side in the axial direction, and the base end side in the axial direction is connected to the rocket body 6.
