To provide a separation tool for an insulating cylinder, which can facilitate separating operation of the insulating cylinder used for an insulation coupler between rails.
A body 22 of the separation tool 21 is brought into contact with a side surface of one connecting fitting 15 of connecting fittings 15, 16 for connecting rails 11, 12. A pullout bolt 23 is screwed to a screw hole 22d formed in a substrate 22a of the body 22. The pullout bolt 23 is inserted into the insulating cylinder 17 inserted and adhered to through-holes 11a, 15a, 16a of the rail 11 and connecting fittings 15, 16, and a drawing tool 24 is connected to a tip of the pullout bolt 23 by a bolt 25. The pullout bolt 23 is rotated with a stepped portion 24c formed in the drawing tool 24 being in contact with an opening edge 17a of the insulating cylinder 17, and the pullout bolt 23 is moved to the left together with the drawing tool 24. By this movement, the insulating cylinder 17 can be pulled out of the through-holes 11a, 15a, 16a.
